Duties

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store, providing exceptional customer service from the moment they walk in
• Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales potential
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
• Manage stock levels by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and organizing product placements to attract customers
• Conduct product demos to educate customers on features and benefits, encouraging purchase decisions
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming shopping environment
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information and directing calls efficiently to support store operations Skills
• Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store setting
• Supervising experience or leadership skills to guide team members when needed
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, inventory counts, and sales reporting
• Strong communication skills with bilingual capabilities preferred to serve diverse customer needs
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to build rapport and resolve issues effectively
• Skilled in upselling techniques and product demos to enhance sales performance
