Title: Inside Sales Representative Location: Holmen, WI

Job Summary

: The Inside Sales Representative supports sales operations by developing growth opportunities with existing customer accounts, generating new business, and providing exceptional service to walk-in customers. This role assists customers with product selection, sales transactions, inventory coordination, and administrative support while contributing to revenue growth, operational efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction. The Inside Sales Representative also helps maintain showroom displays and supports daily yard operations when needed.

Duties

:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and contractor customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships that drive repeat business and revenue growth.
• Support local, regional, and national sales promotions for landscape, masonry, hardscape, and paving products.
• Assist customers and contractors with product selection based on project needs.
• Process sales transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
• Assist customers with loading purchased materials, including operating forklifts or yard equipment when necessary.
• Maintain attractive showroom displays and product merchandising.
• Prepare inventory, shipping, receiving, and sales reconciliation reports.
• Maintain accurate product information and inventory records.
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient daily branch operations.
• Perform additional sales, customer service, and administrative duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications

:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or inside sales experience required.
• Experience in landscape, masonry, hardscape, or construction products is preferred but not required.
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business software.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong sales aptitude with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Forklift experience is preferred or willingness to become certified. Physical & Mental Demands:
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling materials or equipment.
• Occasional climbing, kneeling, crawling, and lifting or moving products weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to concentrate, follow detailed instructions, communicate effectively, and safely perform assigned job duties.
• May require operation of forklifts, yard equipment, computers, and other tools associated with the position.

Work Environment

:

• Work is performed in both an office/showroom setting and an outdoor product yard.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, equipment noise, moving vehicles, yard traffic, dust, chemicals, and public interaction.
• Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
