Overview

We are looking for a licensed (or willing to get licensed) Customer Service & Sales Representative (CSSR) who is a master of relationship-building, thrives on helping others, and has a natural drive for growth. In this hybrid role, you will get the best of both worlds. Your time and energy will be split between delivering top-tier customer service to our existing clients and actively pursuing new sales opportunities. Salary Range: $36,000.00 - $45,000.00 per month

Requirements

Licensing: Active state Property & Casualty (P&C;) AND Life and Health (L&H;) licenses are highly preferred. (We are willing to train and sponsor the right candidate to obtain both licenses within 3060 days of hire). Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check. No felony convictions (this is a mandatory requirement for state insurance licensing clearance). Experience: 12 years of experience in sales, customer service, or outbound telemarketing is highly preferred. The Right Blend: You are comfortable handling service work, but you have the hunger and resilience required for outbound prospecting and cold calling. Tech-Savvy: Highly comfortable with technology, quick to learn new systems, and possesses a strong basic understanding of standard computer programs. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You can pitch value and overcome objections naturally. Mindset: A self-starter who embraces the \"all hands on deck\" environment of a growing business.

Responsibilities

1. Balanced Sales & Growth (50%) Warm Lead Conversion: Quote and bind coverage for incoming warm leads, website inquiries, and incoming phone referrals. Cross-Selling: Proactively review our existing client database to identify coverage gaps (e.g., helping a current auto client protect their home, business, or umbrella) and close the sale. Outbound Prospecting: Make targeted outbound calls to warm lists, lost prospects, and cold databases to generate fresh opportunities. Referral Source Building: Connect with and nurture relationships with local real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professional partners to build a reliable referral pipeline. 2. Client Care & Retention (50%) Exceptional Support: Answer incoming client inquiries via phone, email, and text with warmth, speed, and accuracy. Policy Management: Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and billing payments. Claims Support: Walk clients through the claims process during stressful times, acting as their advocate and calming force. Remarketing: Proactively review accounts at renewal to ensure clients are getting the best value and coverage, maintaining high retention rates.
