Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Eyewear Customer Service Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our optical retail environment, providing exceptional customer service while guiding clients through their eyewear selections. Your expertise will help customers find the perfect frames and lenses to suit their style and vision needs, ensuring a positive shopping experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine sales skills with medical knowledge in a fast- paced, friendly setting dedicated to improving vision and enhancing confidence.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assess their eyewear needs through active listening and professional consultation
• Educate clients on different types of eyewear, including prescription glasses, sunglasses, and specialty lenses, emphasizing features and benefits
• Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their face shape, style preferences, and lifestyle requirements
• Process sales transactions accurately using retail POS systems while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Maintain detailed knowledge of optical products, medical terminology related to vision care, and relevant health privacy regulations such as HIPAA
• Support laboratory activities by understanding basic ophthalmology procedures, including measurements for lenses and fitting techniques
• Keep the sales floor organized, stocked, and visually appealing to promote a welcoming shopping environment No Experience Necessary - We will train. The below experience is helpful.
• Prior retail sales experience with a focus on customer engagement and product recommendations
• Knowledge of optical products, ophthalmology basics, and anatomy related to the eye is highly desirable
• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or similar platforms is a plus
• Understanding of medical terminology, vital signs, medical coding, and medical billing enhances your ability to assist customers with complex needs
• Experience working in healthcare settings such as clinics or senior care environments is advantageous
• Ability to handle sensitive medical records with discretion in compliance with HIPAA regulations
