At Beds by Design, we believe better sleep starts with better conversations. We are a locally owned custom mattress manufacturer focused on handcrafted comfort, personalized solutions, and exceptional customer care. We're looking for someone who can confidently connect with customers in-store while also representing our brand out in the community. This is not your average retail sales position. We want someone who is personable, organized, self-motivated, and excited to be the face of our store at events, networking opportunities, and community partnerships.

What You'll Do

• Assist customers in-store by educating them on mattresses, pillows, adjustable bases, and sleep solutions
• Build genuine relationships with customers and guide them through a consultative sales experience
• Attend community events, trade shows, and networking opportunities as a representative of the company
• Follow up with customers after purchase to ensure a great experience
• Accurately enter and maintain sales information in company tracking systems/CRM
• Help coordinate and schedule deliveries with customers and internal teams
• Participate in bi-weekly sales meetings and ongoing training
• Maintain showroom appearance and support daily store operations
• Collaborate with leadership and team members to continue growing the business What We're Looking For
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking with customers both in-store and at public/community events
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
• Comfortable learning technology and sales tracking systems
• Ability to work independently and stay productive during slower periods
• Retail or mattress industry experience is a plus, but not required

• Retail sales: 1 year preferred
• Customer service: 1 year preferred
