LEASING SPECIALIST Property in Marietta, GA Horizon Realty Management, Inc is a fully integrated Real Estate company strategically investing in high-quality, well-located multifamily assets across North America. We seek a highly motivated Leasing Specialist with a proven sales track record, a strong work ethic, and an ability to derive energy from challenges and provide actionable solutions to join our onsite residential team. As a Leasing Specialist, you will primarily work on all aspects of leasing operations, including handling incoming calls and online and in-person traffic, leasing apartments, and preparing leasing files for approval and renewals. You will work with the team to develop leasing marketing strategies and fully participate in outreach marketing, resident events, and leasing file audits. Your schedule will vary, and we need you full-time, up to 40 hours per week, including working up to 3 Saturdays a month. Primary

Responsibilities

:

• Greeting all residents and prospective residents who visit or call the Leasing Office.
• Completes guest card information.
• Determines needs and preferences.
• Staying informed on the surrounding market, community amenities, and available floor plans.
• Perform market surveys of the surrounding market, physically shop the properties competition.
• Communicating with prospective residents to schedule apartment tours, assessing their rental needs, and guiding them through the leasing path to view prepared model units and onsite amenities.
• Assists in creating and implementing a plan for marketing the property and improving resident satisfaction.
• Aggressively markets the property thru multiple media platforms, including, but not limited to telephone, text, email, social media, etc.
• Prepares and qualifies applications to present to the Community Manager for approval.
• Invite all prospects to complete and sign lease documents, collect qualifying information, and follow leasing protocol to prepare lease files for review and audit.

Requirements

:

• Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills, including persistence, competitiveness, and desire to succeed.
• Excellent social media knowledge, including creating content, building interest in our community, product awareness, and market reach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel & Outlook. Education :
• The ideal candidate should have a High School diploma, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree,
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance are needed.
• Must be able to work a flexible workweek as required, including weekends. Experience :
• Customer Service: 1 to 2 years (Preferred)
• Leasing or related field experience: 2 years (Preferred)
• Restaurant/hospitality or direct multifamily industry experience (1-2 years Preferred).
• Strong administrative and organizational skills, and strong computer proficiency, including direct experience with RealPage Onesite. This position makes use of onsite golf carts for purposes of property tours and inspections. The identified candidate is required to provide proof of a valid Driver's License in good standing for consideration of hire.
