- Identity Theft Protection and Credit Monitoring Summary of Responsibility: Interacts directly with current and prospective residents to achieve maximum occupancy. Responsible for the leasing process from introduction to the actual occupancy of the resident and maintains communication throughout the tenancy of the resident.
Essential Duties
:
- Creates a positive, welcoming, supportive sense of community for residents, visitors, and team members.
- Reports directly to Leasing Manager and/or Property Manager
- Responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, and lease renewals
- Generating and handling telephone and on-site traffic
- Showing prospective residents model apartment and other ready apartments
- Qualifying prospective residents
- Preparing lease documentation and closing the lease
- Completing all related paperwork and activities to ensure a timely move-in
- Completing move-in procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Responsible for complying with all state, federal and local laws relating to Fair Housing
- Responsible for building and maintaining strong resident rapport
- Responsible for conveying resident service requests to Maintenance team members
- Assist Property Manager in gathering current market and economic trends/ information, and preparing competitive and market analysis
- Some Saturday and early evening shifts may be required

- Experience leasing apartments preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be legally able to operate a motor vehicle, possess valid driver's license and auto insurance, and meet company driving requirements Physical Demands/
Working Conditions
/Environment:
- Capable of working long days on a frequent basis.
- Capable of pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Occasionally required to climb, kneel, crouch, bend, reach or crawl.
- Additional physical demands include: being outside/walking across the property in various weather conditions, on feet for an extended period of time, walking up and downstairs, and climbing a ladder.
