Full description of the position

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for welcoming prospective residents to the community, coordinating tours, and responding to incoming inquiries about leasing. The position will also interact with current residents regarding day- to-day issues as well as assisting the Assistant Property Manager and Property Manager with miscellaneous tasks as assigned. The Leasing Consultant will serve as a central point of communication between the Community residents, Community Management, as well as community Maintenance teams. The Leasing Consultant will also be responsible for making weekly marketing calls and daily social media posting as well as ongoing inspection and touch up cleaning of vacant/rentable apartments. Schedule: Must be able/flexible to work weekend office coverage during posted office hours to include Saturdays and Sundays. Basic Daily Tasks:

• Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community
• Lease apartments with a high level and percentage of sales intensity
• Ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents
• Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and that of immediate competition
• Lead the charge of daily/weekly/monthly marketing activities and social media posting
• Complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other forms
• Inspect vacant apartments and touch them up to ensure they show as expected
• Regular attendance and punctuality to include after hour resident events
• Follow up with residents throughout the lease
• Receive any resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow up What you must bring to our team:
• 2+ years' apartment leasing experience
• Experience with Yardi property management systems is a significant plus
• Exceptional customer service skills and professional image
• Must be able to work on a team or in a team environment
• Must be resourceful and well-organized
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Sound decision-making skills Physical requirements of the job:
• Sitting, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs
