Position Summary

The Leasing Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the leasing and management operations of residential and/or commercial properties in the Appleton/Neenah area. This role ensures high occupancy rates, maintains positive tenant relations, and coordinates property maintenance and administrative functions. The Leasing Property Manager serves as the main point of contact for prospective and current tenants and collaborates closely with property owners and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of leasing, including advertising vacancies, conducting property tours, screening applicants, and preparing lease agreements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions to set competitive rental rates and minimize vacancies. Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and service requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Oversee move-in and move-out procedures, including property inspections and security deposit management. Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely completion of repairs and upkeep of the property. Collect rent, process payments, and manage delinquent accounts according to company policies. Maintain accurate records of leases, tenants, financial transactions, and property maintenance. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property management and fair housing.

Qualifications

Proven experience in property management or leasing. Strong knowledge of leasing practices, property law, and fair housing regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

This position may require occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate tenant needs or property showings. Local travel between properties may also be necessary.
