New Business Development Specialist HireQuest Direct Staffing

Overview

HireQuest Direct is looking for a driven, outgoing New Business Development Specialist to help grow our client base in the local market. This is an entry- level, field-based sales role no staffing or sales experience required, just a strong work ethic, thick skin, and the willingness to get in front of people every single day. You'll be out in the community knocking on doors, introducing local businesses to our staffing services, and generating new leads for the branch. This role is built for someone who's energetic, persistent, and not afraid of hearing "no" because you'll hear it a lot before you hear "yes."

What You'll Do

• Make 2030 in-person business visits per day, introducing HireQuest Direct's staffing services to potential clients
• Prospect new business leads in your assigned territory through cold visits, drop-ins, and follow-ups
• Build rapport quickly and represent HireQuest Direct professionally at every stop
• Track daily visits, leads, and outcomes to report back to your branch manager
• Follow up with prospects to move them from first contact to active client
• Work closely with the branch team to hand off new accounts for onboarding What We're Looking For
• A positive, resilient attitude you can hear rejection all day and keep showing up with energy
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (this is a driving-intensive role)
• Strong people skills comfortable walking into a business and starting a conversation cold
• Coachable and willing to learn our sales process and staffing industry basics
• No degree or prior sales experience required we'll train the right person

• $350/month car allowance
