Overview

The HVAC Internal Sales Representative is responsible for proactively generating revenue opportunities, following up with existing customers, creating sales leads for the field team, maintaining customer relationships, and helping maximize customer retention. This role is heavily focused on outbound communication, customer follow-up, lead generation, maintenance membership sales, and helping homeowners move forward with HVAC services and system upgrades. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, confident on the phone, organized, energetic, and passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Follow-Up & Relationship Building

• Follow up with previous customers regarding HVAC service opportunities, system replacements, maintenance, indoor air quality products, and upgrades
• Contact unsold estimates generated by technicians and Project Managers
• Perform happy calls after service and installation appointments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Build strong long-term customer relationships through consistent communication and professionalism
• Maintain detailed customer notes and records within ServiceTitan/CRM Maintenance Membership Sales
• Sell HVAC maintenance agreements and membership programs
• Educate homeowners on the value of preventative maintenance and long-term system care
• Follow up with expired memberships and renewal opportunities
• Help increase customer retention and recurring revenue Lead Generation & Internal Sales
• Generate qualified sales leads for Project Managers and service technicians
• Identify opportunities for system replacements, upgrades, accessories, and additional services
• Assist in creating outbound call campaigns and customer reactivation efforts
• Support marketing and promotional initiatives through outbound communication Outbound Calling & Cold Calling
• Call previous customers and inactive customer lists
• Conduct outbound calls to generate appointments and sales opportunities
• Re-engage old leads and past estimates
• Maintain professionalism, positivity, and persistence during outbound communication Operational Excellence
• Accurately document customer communication and lead activity
• Work closely with dispatch, service, sales, and install departments
• Help improve customer experience and operational efficiency
• Maintain urgency, organization, and professionalism throughout the workday

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC industry experience preferred
• Inside sales or outbound sales experience preferred
• Experience with ServiceTitan or CRM software is a plus
• Strong phone communication skills
• Comfortable making outbound and cold calls
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude and team-player mentality
