About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while supporting sales growth through inbound and outbound customer interactions. You will assist customers with product selection, order processing, pricing inquiries, and reslovling order-related issues. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping customers succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business customers through professional phone and email communication.
• Conduct outbound business-to-business sales calls using company-generated leads.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate flooring products and sundries.
• Grow existing customer accounts by understanding customers' businesses and supply chain requirements.
• Answer incoming customer inquiries and provide prompt, accurate information regarding products, pricing, and availability.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate shipping dates, anticipated delays, and other order-related information.
• Verify order accuracy, including quantities shipped and supporting shipping documentation.
• Navigate internal systems to access customer information, inventory details, and order status.
• Maintain current knowledge of company products, promotions, policies, and procedures.
• Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of general office, customer service, inside sales, or administrative expereicne.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn internal business systems.
• Proficiency with common office equipment and software applications.
• Excellent telephone communication skills with a confident, professional speaking voice.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including percentages and discounts.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to remain composed and professional in challenging situations. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
