Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and reporting any discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding product features, promotions, and store policies.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling POS transactions and inventory management.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store.
• Ability to work in a restaurant kitchen at a fast pace. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
