What You'll Do

• Self-generating leads through door-to-door canvassing and prospecting activities
• Conduct consultations and educate customers on the cost savings and environmental benefits of solar energy.
• Identify and nurture potential leads using our advanced tools and technologies.
• Customize solar energy solutions to meet the unique needs and preferences of each customer.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and presentations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Build your sales, communication, and leadership skills
• Represent Unity with professionalism in the field Training and Support Unity provides structured onboarding, class-style bootcamp training, Solar 101 product education, and in-field one-on-one mentorship. You'll receive support on scripts, homeowner conversations, objection handling, appointment setting, and the sales process. You will not be expected to figure this out alone. The goal is not just to get you started. The goal is to help you build real sales skills.

Compensation

This is a 1099 commission-only opportunity with uncapped earning potential. Entry-level representatives average around $5,000/month. Annual earnings average at $86,000$120,000+ at entry-level. Pay opportunities are available through multiple deal milestones, including NTP, closed deals, completed installs, and add ons. Representatives also have:

• Uncapped commissions
• Bonus opportunities
• Payroll processing twice a week
• Access to track commissions directly through our sales platform

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation required
• Smartphone required
• Comfortable speaking with homeowners face-to-face
• Comfortable knocking doors
• Comfortable working in a 1099 commission-only role
• Full-time availability required
• Attend trainings, meetings, and development sessions at local home office locations as needed Previous experience in sales or door-to-door sales is helpful, but nothing is required. We care more about consistency and work ethic than previous solar or sales experience. The Reality This is not an hourly role. This role rewards effort, consistency, and resilience.
