About Atlas Event Rental Atlas Event Rental is a growing event rental company dedicated to helping clients create unforgettable events through exceptional products and outstanding service. From weddings and corporate events to private celebrations and large-scale productions, we partner with our clients to bring their vision to life. We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through business development, client relationship management, consultative sales, and collaboration with our operations team to ensure successful event execution. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve and exceed individual sales goals.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with event planners, venues, corporate clients, nonprofits, and private customers.
• Conduct client meetings and consultations to assess event needs and recommend appropriate rental solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and customized rental packages.
• Follow up on leads and proposals to secure bookings and maximize revenue.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, vendors, event planners, and venue partners.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and event planning process.
• Maintain regular communication with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and services to provide expert recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with operations, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Assist with resolving event-related issues and accommodating last-minute client requests when necessary.
• Attend event setups, as approved by management, to support client relationships and company marketing initiatives.
• Ensure all event details are accurately communicated to internal teams.
• Maintain accurate client records, sales activity, and pipeline updates.
• Submit weekly sales reports and updates to the Director of Sales.
• Monitor overdue contracts and communicate concerns to management.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, customer retention initiatives, and service improvement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records.
• Ability to build and maintain professional business relationships.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually
