Mobile Shoe Store Driver

Job Description

Job Title: Mobile Shoe Store Driver / Sales Associate

Position Summary

: The Mobile Shoe Store Driver is responsible for safely operating a company vehicle that serves as a mobile retail shoe store. This position delivers footwear and related products directly to customer locations, provides exceptional customer service, assists customers with footwear selection and fitting, maintains inventory, and ensures the mobile store is clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain the mobile shoe store vehicle.
• Travel to customer locations, job sites, businesses, and special events according to scheduled routes.
• Assist customers with shoe fitting, sizing, and product selection.
• Process sales transactions, including cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
• Load, unload, and organize inventory within the mobile store.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
• Maintain accurate sales and inventory records.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Set up and display merchandise to maximize sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and business accounts.
• Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and driving requirements.
• Keep the mobile store clean, professional, and customer-ready at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a commercial vehicle (CDL preferred if required by vehicle size).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently. Physical

Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to enter and exit the vehicle multiple times throughout the day.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions while servicing customer locations. Preferred Experience
• Footwear sales experience.
• Knowledge of work boots, safety footwear, and fitting techniques.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Route sales or delivery experience. Typical Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday, with occasional evenings or weekends for special events or customer needs. Reports To: / Store Owner / Sales Manager
