A premier regional hospitality management organization is seeking a results- driven Sales Manager to join its dynamic property-level sales team at a fully renovated hotel property in the Omaha, Nebraska area. Position

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive solicitation calls via phone, email, and face-to-face outreach, spending over 50% of the workweek on outside sales activities and account development.
• Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and execute confirmations for group bookings, social events, and corporate accounts.
• Lead property tours and site inspections with prospective clients to feature renovated event spaces, room accommodations, and property amenities.
• Maintain and utilize the account management database to track client communications, trace follow-ups, and generate recurring business.
• Collaborate closely with hotel operations, catering, and food & beverage teams to ensure seamless event execution and high guest satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, analyze competitor strategies, and participate in local chamber events, civic organizations, and sales blitzes.
• Meet and exceed quantitative individual sales production and revenue targets set by leadership.
• Participate in property manager-on-duty (MOD) rotations and provide leadership for banquet and catering teams as needed. Position

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited institution OR 1 to 2 years of related sales experience in hospitality or hotel operations.
• Demonstrated track record in proactive B2B sales, account management, and client relationship building.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present professionally to diverse client groups.
• Fundamental financial and analytical aptitude, including proficiency in basic math and business correspondence.
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurability, and willingness to travel within a 5-to-20-mile local territory.
• Ability to work flexibly to support business needs, including occasional evening or weekend networking events.

Compensation

Package Details

• Competitive base salary of $65,000 per year
• Quarterly bonus potential of up to 16% of quarterly salary based on performance targets
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.65 per mile for outside sales calls
