Full description of the position

An industry leading information technology company focused on the audio / video industry is looking for a sales representative. For over four decades the company has been at the forefront of selling, designing, and installing permanent audio, video, and broadcast solutions with a focus on video conferencing. This market leader is seeking an energetic professional to expand its account base in a growth-oriented region. An established account base will be provided in addition to the expectation of adding new customers. Prospecting, cold calling, and networking in order to generate new business is a key consideration of the position. The Account Manager will be provided with in-house support resources for the designing, engineering, integration, and installation of products. Additionally, other corporate supported personnel are provided for exclusive and semi-exclusive products.

Responsibilities

Develop technology solutions for clients ranging from Fortune 1000 clientele to education and healthcare institutions. Generate industry relationships and provide client assistance. Preparing proposals and bid specifications to strategically win new business. Grow and manage an existing account base of dedicated customers. Conduct meetings with decision-makers to thoroughly understand client needs and to provide solutions. Manage the sales process from initial meeting through closing including thorough do Develop project designs and initial job specifications. Provide call lists, sales forecasts, and other reporting items as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Three or more years in the audio, video, and / or broadcast industry. Experience with Microsoft Office. Possess strong written and oral English communication skills. Ability to travel locally, attend industry events, and occasional seminars. Be currently authorized to work in the United States. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
