Full description of the position

Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge is seeking a dynamic, strategic leader to serve as Director of Sales. This role oversees all sales and revenue- generating initiatives for a premier year-round private club and will assist with sales opportunities for Latrobe Country Club (Latrobe, PA). This role oversees group, leisure, corporate, and member-driven revenue streams while developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that elevate brand positioning, drive demand, and maximize profitability. Working in partnership with property leadership, this position is accountable for delivering measurable revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term client relationships across both locations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Strategic Leadership & Revenue Oversight

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning process, including 30/60/90/120-day outlooks.
  • Drive total revenue performance across rooms, group, catering, and F&B; outlets.
  • Partner with leadership to establish rate strategies, pricing models, and revenue optimization plans.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive data, and performance metrics to adjust strategies and maximize results. Sales Leadership
  • Oversee all sales activities, including member, corporate, group, leisure, and transient segments.
  • Establish and monitor sales goals, KPIs, and production standards for the sales team.
  • Ensure consistent execution of sales standards across both properties.
  • Maintain a strong presence with key accounts, prospects, and VIP clients across both locations.
  • Drive new business development while strengthening repeat and long-term relationships. Marketing
  • Partner with the Communications team on the development and execution of integrated marketing plans (digital, email, PR, and partnerships), as well as campaigns, messaging, etc.
  • Work with the Brand director to ensure brand consistency and positioning across both properties.
  • Oversee lodge website content where applicable, online presence, OTA strategy, and reputation management.
  • Identify new marketing channels and opportunities to increase visibility and demand. Team Leadership & Development Provide leadership and training to BH reservation team. Identify training needs and implement development plans to improve performance. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results-driven performance. Align sales, reservations, front office, and F&B; teams to ensure seamless execution of booked business. Revenue Management & Reporting
  • Oversee CRM systems and reporting tools to track sales activity, pipeline, and conversion metrics.
  • Review and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of forecasts, pace, and budget variances.
  • Maintain accountability for lead response times, proposal quality, and contract execution. Client & Community Engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, community partners, and industry organizations.
  • Represent both properties at networking events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  • Strengthen the properties' presence within the local and regional market. Operational Integration
  • Ensure smooth coordination between sales and operations for execution of group and event business.
  • Oversee high-level client experience from prospecting through post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with F&B; and events teams on banquet planning, BEO accuracy, and guest experience. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Hospitality Experience a must
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, or revenue leadership (preferably multi-property).
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and demand generation.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and adjust strategies.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across two properties. Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
