We are seeking a dynamic, polished, and customer-centric Jewelry Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, helping clients celebrate life's milestones by guiding them to the perfect piece of fine jewelry. The ideal candidate possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for luxury style, and a proven ability to meet high-ticket sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relations & Consultation

• Welcome every visitor with a warm, professional, and upscale greeting at the storefront.
• Consult with clients to determine their style preferences, specific occasions, and budget constraints.
• Educate customers on diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, and craftsmanship details.
• Build lasting relationships through ongoing clienteling, personal follow-ups, and holiday reminders.
• Coordinate custom designs by liaising with clients and our jewelry designer Sales & Operations
• Exceed individual targets for monthly sales volume, average ticket size, and closing rates.
• Upsell additional items like matching earrings, custom engravings, matching bands, etc
• Process checkout transactions accurately using the store's retail point-of-sale (POS) terminal.
• Manage minor service intake including client jewelry cleanings, watch batteries, and repair drop-offs. Merchandising & Asset Protection
• Maintain flawless showcases by arranging, wiping, and restocking jewelry trays according to brand guidelines.
• Enforce strict security standards by tracking keys, locking display cases, and verifying IDs.
• Conduct daily inventory audits during opening and closing procedures to account for all pieces.

Qualifications

& Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; jewelry-specific certifications (GIA, AJP) are highly valued.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years in high-end retail sales, luxury hospitality, or jewelry environments.
• Communication: Articulate verbal skills with the natural empathy needed to handle intimate milestone purchases.
• Availability: Flexibility to work retail hours, including peak weekend shifts, evenings, and major holiday seasons. Physical

Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking on the showroom floor during an 8-hour shift.
• Precise fine-motor skills for handling delicate, microscopic, and high-value jewelry pieces.
• Strong visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses) to inspect fine details under a jeweler's loupe. What We Offer
