Duties

• Engage with customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products or services, emphasizing upselling opportunities to maximize sales potential
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Manage route driving responsibilities efficiently, adhering to scheduled delivery or service routes while maintaining professionalism on the road
• Conduct merchandising activities to ensure product displays are attractive, organized, and aligned with brand standards
• Apply knowledge of pricing strategies to offer competitive quotes and negotiate terms that benefit both the customer and the company
• Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, including safe driving practices and proper vehicle maintenance
• Assist with automobile transportation logistics, ensuring safe lifting practices during loading/unloading heavy items and adhering to safety protocols
• Utilize excellent communication skills to clearly convey product benefits, answer customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain organizational records of sales activities, route logs, inventory levels, and compliance documentation

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and transportation safety standards
• Strong math skills for pricing calculations, discounts, and inventory management
• Demonstrated ability in customer service with excellent communication skills
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and safe lifting practices during loading/unloading processes
• Experience in sales or merchandising is highly desirable; familiarity with upselling techniques is a plus
• Organizational skills for managing routes, schedules, and documentation efficiently
• Background in military service or related discipline is advantageous for discipline-driven roles involving route driving or logistics
