Position Summary

The Commercial Accounts Manager goal is to establish & develop new & current client relationships to be able to acquire and maintain a strong customer base to increase sales in a designated territory. The Territory Account Manager should develop sales of HVAC commercial products , including projects that may include residential equipment , to dealers/contractor, including its marketing support, in coordination with our established wholesale HVAC distributorship and current marketing efforts. Responsibilities

:

  • Sales of HVAC equipment and supplies. Focus on commercial equipment sales, residential when applies.
  • Supports and acts as Product Champion for stores commercial equipment sales efforts.
  • Account and relationship development process for current & new customers.
  • Quotes, prepare, enter, and follow up customer's orders. Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Participate as requested in product shows, utility sponsored events, industry associations, new and current marketing activities and initiatives.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Collects, organizes, and assembles data for reports, presentations and/or special projects. Conduct presentations/seminars.
  • Responds to customer needs by identifying product needs, generating quotes and closing orders.
  • Develops multiple relationships with key players in the customer's organization, including project managers, project engineers, construction, financial, and purchasing personnel.
  • Assists customers in answering technical questions on HVAC products, system application alternatives, and problem resolution.
  • Conducts price estimates and quotations for projects.
  • Conduct customer visits and customer events to build relationships with key accounts.
  • Promotes & help implement sales & marketing dealer programs to target customers.
  • Helps organize and may conduct formal presentations and training sessions with customer groups.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing
  • professional publications.
  • Assist stores operations and counter sales when required
  • Coordinates sales efforts and orders fulfilment with stores managers
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
  • Some travel requirements with some overnight travel.
  • Must own his/her own car.
  • Identify technical, sales, and marketing training opportunities.
  • Must design and develop a visit, proposal & sales log.

Requirements

:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, marketing or equivalent, from four-year college or university; and at least three to five years sales of HVAC in the assigned or similar territory. An equivalent combination of education and sales experience can be evaluated.
  • Fully fluent in English & Spanish.
  • Knowledge and constant use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' sales and/ or account management experience.
  • Proactive reporting and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Job Type: Full-time Education:
