Overview

Sales & Market Development Assistant

• _Familiar with food and/or dairy processing_: This role is ideal for someone who understands the technical sale and commercial realities of the industry from ingredient functionality to plant- level processing needs and can translate that knowledge into stronger customer relationships and new business opportunities. Required familiarity
• With food and/or dairy processing
• B2B technical sales or market development
• Food or dairy ingredients: Fermentation, enzymes, cultures, or food manufacturing
• Comfortable calling and visiting food processors
• Ideally bilingual (English/Spanish) you'll do:
• Identify and develop new and established accounts within food and dairy processing
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and technical documentation tailored to customer needs
• Coordinate with customers on product specifications, applications, and troubleshooting
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in dairy and food processing
• Maintain CRM records, sales reports, and pipeline updates
• Liaise between customers and internal teams (production, quality, logistics) to ensure smooth order fulfillment Additional qualifications:
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable with data entry, reporting, and CRM tools
• A proactive, self-directed, detail-oriented approach to sales
• Prior experience in food/dairy sales, technical sales support, or a related field (degree in food science, dairy science, or similar a plus, not required) Why join us:
