Full description of the position

Our client is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. In this role, you will ensure client relationships are well-managed through daily interactions with internal staff, clients, and large insurance carriers. The selected individual will be responsible for balancing multiple projects, engage with diverse personalities, and continually improve the resources offered.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring an exceptional client experience
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and insurance carriers
• Coordinate and manage ongoing client projects, renewals, and service requests
• Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and client communications
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements
• Support the delivery of innovative solutions and recommendations that enhance client health plan performance
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism in all client deliverables and communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
• Two years of experience in relationship management, account management, client services, or a related role within health insurance industry; preferably experience working with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship, now or in the future Job Type: Full-time
