New Home Star, in partnership with M/I Homes, is seeking a motivated sales professional with a passion for people to join the M/I Homes team in the Howell, MI area! M/I Homes is a renowned homebuilder dedicated to building customers' dream homes with outstanding quality, superior design, and excellent customer service. As a Sales Associate with M/I Homes, you'll begin a structured, paid training program designed to set you up for success in new home sales - no real estate or industry experience required. If you have a strong background in sales or customer service and a drive to grow, this is your opportunity to step into a rewarding, high-earning sales career as a New Home Consultant.

Compensation

& Growth Path:

• Start as a Sales Associate earning $25/hour (depending on experience) during an 8-16 week paid training program
• Upon completing training and obtaining an active Michigan real estate license, you'll be promoted to New Home Consultant
• New Home Consultants earn a base salary + commission for their first 3 months on the sales floor, transitioning to a commission structure + optional draw after that
• Annual earning potential of $120,000+, contingent on individual performance and hitting sales goals
• This is a full-time, W2 opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k) options, and more

What You'll Do

:

• Learn the ropes of new home sales by working alongside experienced consultants
• Build relationships with buyers and guide them through their home-buying journey
• Support model home tours, lead follow-up, and community outreach
• Get hands-on training in contracts, financing, and the full sales process

• Have 2-3+ years of experience in sales, retail management, hospitality, or customer service
• Know how to build rapport, listen to what people need, and guide them to a decision
• Are comfortable working weekends and a full-time, in-person schedule
