Overview
YOTEL/PAD Miami is seeking a Business Travel Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving corporate transient room revenue by developing and maintaining relationships with local, regional, and national corporate accounts. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, negotiating preferred corporate agreements, increasing market share, and maximizing hotel profitability through strategic account management. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with strong networking skills, exceptional relationship-building abilities, and a passion for exceeding revenue goals. ESSENTIAL RESPONIBILITIES
- Prospect, solicit, and secure new corporate transient accounts through cold calling, networking, referrals, and sales appointments.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on increasing weekday occupancy and corporate room nights.
- Maintain and grow an assigned portfolio of key corporate accounts.
- Conduct outside sales calls, client presentations, site inspections, and networking events.
- Negotiate corporate rate agreements and preferred partnership contracts.
- Identify opportunities within local businesses, regional corporations, relocation companies, government agencies, law firms, medical institutions, and other key market segments.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients to maximize account production and retention.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts.
- Monitor production levels and identify opportunities for account growth.
- Ensure client satisfaction through consistent communication and exceptional service.
- Collaborate closely with Director of Sales and Revenue Management to establish competitive corporate pricing strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and production reports to identify revenue opportunities.
- Drive negotiated corporate business during need periods while maximizing ADR.
- Assist in developing promotional offers targeting corporate travelers.
- Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and sales initiatives.
- Stay informed on local economic developments, new businesses, office relocations, conventions, and major events affecting demand.
- Attend industry networking events, and chamber of commerce meetings.
- Work closely with Reservations, Front Office, Revenue Management, and Operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Coordinate VIP arrivals and special corporate requests.
- Participate in weekly sales strategy meetings.
- Maintain accurate account information and activity within the hotel's CRM system.
- Maintain detailed sales call reports and account activity.
- Prepare weekly production reports.
- Manage RFP submissions through Lanyon and/or other corporate sourcing platforms.
- Achieve weekly sales activity goals including:
- Outside Sales Calls
- Prospecting Calls
- Site Inspections
- Client Entertainments
- Networking Events

Requirements
- Experience in Corporate Transient Sales is highly preferred.
- Hilton and/ or independent hotel experience is a plus.
- Excellent decision-making ability and analytical skills.
- Be able to multi-task various job duties daily.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent education/experience.
- Manages the sales activities to ensure activity and booking goals are met or exceeded. Develops action plans to ensure the success.
- Understands the dynamics of the local market and demand generators and presents appropriate actions to the Director of Sales.
- Experience using Opera PMS, Salesforce, or similar CRM systems preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds.
- Demonstrated history of success results driven, energetic, and focused Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line.
- Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must be proficient in AI, Microsoft Word and Excel. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
