Schneider's Seafood + Meats has been family-owned and operated in Western New York since 1909. We are a well-established seafood and meat supplier serving restaurants, country clubs, hotels, caterers, and foodservice customers throughout the region. Position

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This is not a build-from-zero sales role. We have a solid book of accounts waiting for the right salesperson, including both top-tier and mid-tier customers. The right candidate will be expected to manage and grow existing accounts, develop new business, and strengthen customer relationships. We also have a new mobile app ordering platform designed to help customers place routine orders more efficiently. This allows our sales team to spend more time focused on selling, relationship building, product education, and account growth.

Compensation

Starting salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 , based on experience, with realistic annual bonus potential of $5,000 to $20,000 , based on sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established book of accounts.
• Develop new business within the assigned sales territory.
• Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Present products, pricing, and solutions to foodservice customers.
• Use seafood, meat, foodservice, or culinary knowledge to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Promote customer use of our mobile ordering platform.
• Plan and schedule customer visits efficiently.
• Work with internal teams to ensure accurate orders, timely deliveries, and strong customer service.
• Identify customer needs, solve problems, and follow through professionally. Experience and Skills
• Sales, foodservice, restaurant, hospitality, or culinary experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of seafood, meat, culinary products, and industry terminology is very helpful.
• Strong communication, prospecting, presenting, and negotiating skills.
• Organized, motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable using technology and helping customers adopt ordering tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be a problem solver who can work independently and follow through. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
