Kitchen & Bath Design & Sales Professional Birmingham, Michigan | Full-Time | KSI Kitchen & Bath KSI Kitchen & Bath is looking for an experienced Kitchen & Bath Design & Sales Professional for our Birmingham showroom, one of our highest- performing and most established locations. You'll design beautiful, functional spaces and guide clients through the sales process from first consultation to project completion, backed by a Design Support team that handles scheduling and admin so you can focus on design and clients.

Compensation

Base salary: Generous base salary based on industry experience. Commission: Tiered and uncapped, the more you sell, the higher your payout percentage. Most designers in this role earn $80,000-$90,000 in total compensation; top producers can comfortably exceed this - capacity permitting. Additionally: Our design and sales teams are eligible for manufacturer's spiff incentive programs. Though these programs may vary throughout a given year, they can meaningfully add to overall earnings. Also included: Medical, dental, vision, HSA, and 401(k) with company match; paid time off; employee discounts on cabinetry and home improvement products.

What You'll Do

Run design consultations that uncover each client's goals, lifestyle, and budget. Create kitchen and bath designs using 2020 Design software. Present designs and product selections that move clients confidently toward a decision. Generate new business through showroom traffic, referrals, and networking. Prepare proposals, quotes, and revisions, and manage the sale through close. Coordinate with contractors, installers, and Design Support to keep projects on track. Maintain accurate documentation in the CRM. What Makes This Role Different A dedicated Design Support team welcomes guests, qualifies leads, and handles administrative work, so you spend more time designing and selling, not doing paperwork. Leadership promotes from within and invests in ongoing training, manufacturer certifications, and trade events.

Qualifications

2+ years of kitchen and bath design or remodeling experience (required). Proficiency in 2020 Design, CAD, or similar software (required). Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills. Highly organized with close attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred).
