Duties

• Conduct route driving to deliver products, merchandise displays, or promotional materials efficiently.
• Apply strong organizational skills to manage schedules, route plans, and inventory levels.
• Upsell additional products or services by identifying customer needs and presenting tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations when involved in commercial truck driving or transportation tasks.
• Demonstrate safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks such as loading or unloading merchandise.
• Maintain knowledge of pricing strategies to offer competitive quotes while maximizing sales margins.
• Follow merchandising standards to ensure product displays are attractive and organized.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate deliveries, route changes, or special requests.
• Adhere to all safety protocols related to automobile transportation, heavy lifting, and driving regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail store environments or sales roles; military background is a plus for discipline and organizational skills.
• Strong math skills for calculating pricing, discounts, and sales figures accurately.
• Valid driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving or commercial driving preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial transportation is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently using proper techniques.
• Familiarity with upselling techniques and customer relationship building strategies.
• Basic understanding of merchandising principles and route planning logistics.
