Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing products, and participating in regular stock checks
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments Skills
• Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store environment
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or managing shifts
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts
• Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Skilled in delivering product demos with enthusiasm and clarity to educate customers about features and benefits
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally via phone or in person
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking techniques, and basic grocery store operations is highly desirable
