Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who thrives on building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service in cut flower sales. You will join our team in Buffalo, NY. Experience in the floral industry is helpful but not required. If you have strong sales abilities, this is an opportunity with a starting salary of $45,000 or commensurate with experience. There is an unlimited earning potential for a results driven professional.

Duties

• Maintain and proactively assist existing accounts while developing relationships with new accounts.
• Promote new and existing products and keep customers informed on seasonal availability and market trends
• Maintain professional cooler appearance for customers by assisting in cleaning and processing flowers throughout the week
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, text and in person. Must be comfortable learning and using new software customized for our business.
• Prepare and process orders accurately and efficiently working in and out of a cooler environment.
• Meet and exceed sales goals through strong communication and follow through

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales, floral design, or horticulture is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while delivering outstanding customer service. Early morning start and punctuality are a must.
