Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain a wide range of garage doors and openers using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and building codes to ensure precise installation and compliance.
• Perform heavy lifting and door hanging tasks safely while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Conduct glass installation, locksmithing, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture or cabinet installation as needed for complete door setups.
• Utilize welding skills and metal stud framing knowledge for custom fabrication or repair projects.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues accurately on construction sites or remodeling projects.
• Engage with construction site teams to coordinate work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, remodeling, or general handyman work.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabricating materials.
• Familiarity with building code compliance, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and electrical experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
• Knowledge of locksmithing, fixture installation, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, caulking, and electrical systems enhances your versatility on the job.
• Construction site experience with a focus on safety standards and efficient project execution.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise installations or repairs.
