Commercial HVAC Sales Representative Full Time | Miami, FL | $70k-90k Base + commission A well-established HVAC mechanical contractor serving South Florida is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Sales Representative / Sales Executive to develop and manage commercial HVAC installation opportunities across the region. The company provides residential, commercial, and construction HVAC solutions and supports a wide range of commercial properties and large mechanical projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a sales professional with strong commercial HVAC knowledge, experience selling larger mechanical systems, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and contract close. Overview

The Commercial HVAC Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new commercial HVAC opportunities, building relationships with property managers, general contractors, developers, facility managers, and building owners, and selling large HVAC installation and replacement projects. This role is ideal for someone who understands commercial HVAC systems, enjoys relationship-driven sales, and is comfortable working in the field throughout South Florida.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new commercial HVAC installation and replacement opportunities throughout South Florida
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors, developers, facility managers, and commercial building owners
• Sell large commercial HVAC projects, including rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, large-tonnage systems, replacements, retrofits, and new installations
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, construction drawings, and bid documents
• Prepare project proposals, estimates, bid packages, and client presentations
• Collaborate with estimators, project managers, technicians, and operations teams to ensure accurate project scope and successful project handoff
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and lead generation through proposal, negotiation, and contract close
• Follow up on leads, bid opportunities, referrals, and existing customer accounts
• Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and customer information using Excel or CRM systems
• Represent the company professionally while building long-term customer relationships

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC sales experience preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems and HVAC installation projects
• Experience with chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, large-tonnage systems, and commercial HVAC replacements strongly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical plans, and construction documents
• Experience selling to property managers, general contractors, developers, facility managers, or commercial building owners preferred
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects at different stages of the sales cycle
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout South Florida Location Field-based role with local travel throughout South Florida. Office presence required when not in the field.
