Overview

The Real Estate Acquisitions Specialist will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and assisting heirs who have inherited real estate. You'll research ownership, locate heirs, initiate contact, and walk families through the estate settlement process ultimately negotiating agreements for inheritance liquidation. This position combines sales, research, and relationship management ideal for someone who is both persuasive and empathetic, with a strong understanding of negotiating & closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research pre-probate and inherited property opportunities through internal data and public records.
• Contact and build relationships with heirs, personal representatives, or estate attorneys.
• Clearly explain the estate settlement process and our firm's role in facilitating property resolution.
• Negotiate acquisition agreements and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth contract execution.
• Track all outreach, progress, and deal stages in the CRM system.
• Maintain consistent follow-up to heirs in the pipeline.
• Collaborate with legal, title, and development partners to ensure timely closings or project transitions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in real estate, or any sales field with a track record of success.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to speak confidently yet compassionately with families.
• Working knowledge of real estate contracts and basic probate procedures.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven with excellent time management.
• Tech-savvy with CRM and online research tools (skip tracing, property data platforms, etc.).
• (Preferred) Background in probate or real estate investment.

• Base Salary: $60,000
• Performance Bonuses: Finder bonuses and tiered commissions on closed deals
