Position Summary

Turn-Key Industrial Services is seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to develop new business opportunities while growing long-term relationships with existing industrial customers. This position is responsible for identifying customer needs, generating sales opportunities, coordinating project estimates, and serving as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate understands industrial manufacturing, fabrication, maintenance, and construction services and has the ability to communicate technical solutions that help customers reduce downtime, improve productivity, and complete capital projects safely and efficiently. This is a field-based position that requires regular customer visits throughout the assigned territory. Primary

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within industrial manufacturing, aggregate, cement, chemical, metals, foundry, paper, warehousing, and commercial construction markets.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts through regular customer visits and proactive communication.
• Identify opportunities for fabrication, machining, industrial maintenance, millwright services, rigging, equipment installation, commercial steel, and specialty construction projects.
• Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, trade associations, and industry events.
• Conduct customer site visits to evaluate project requirements and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Work closely with estimating, engineering, operations, and project management teams to develop accurate proposals and quotations.
• Present proposals, negotiate pricing, and close profitable business while maintaining company margin objectives.
• Coordinate project handoff to operations while remaining involved to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Meet or exceed established sales and profitability goals.
• Represent Turn-Key Industrial Services with professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to safety.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or technical industrial sales experience.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage long-term customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of industrial maintenance, fabrication, machining, structural steel, or related services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read or understand basic fabrication drawings and project specifications is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling industrial maintenance services.
• Experience with heavy industrial facilities or manufacturing plants.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with ASME and AWS fabrication standards.
• Existing relationships within Ohio's industrial manufacturing market. Core Competencies

Requirements

• Frequent driving and customer site visits.
• Walking through manufacturing plants and construction sites.
