Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Furniture Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for helping customers find the right products. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience, driving sales, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
• Apply to several financing companies such as ACIMA, PROGRESSIVE, SNAP, KOALAFI.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies regarding cash handling.
• Utilize effective phone etiquette to assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products and services.
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and ensuring product displays are visually appealing.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions and managing inventory.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members when required, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Stay informed about product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers regarding features, benefits, and promotions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
