Full description of the position

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our neighborhood grocery store. As a Grocery Store Associate/cashier, you'll help create a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping experience while assisting customers with their everyday needs. No two days are exactly the sameyou'll help with stocking, cashiering, cleaning, and customer service as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Rotate products and check expiration dates.
• Keep the store clean and organized.
• Restock bags, supplies, and merchandise.
• Help unload and organize deliveries.
• Assist customers in locating products.
• Follow food safety and store cleanliness standards.
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive attitude.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to lift up to 4050 lbs.
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Retail or grocery experience is a plus but not requiredwe're happy to train the right person. Preferred Availability
• Weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
