Job Summary

: We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and contributing to the overall success of our store. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

Responsibilities

: - Greet and assist customers, answering questions and making product recommendations to drive sales. - Manage store stock and inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and efficient restocking. - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of retail sales techniques and strategies, including upselling and cross-selling. - Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently. - Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including addressing customer complaints and providing personalized service. - Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an inviting shopping atmosphere. - Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. - Maintain a working knowledge of retail math and be able to make accurate change. - Supervise other sales associates as needed, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance. - Demonstrate fluency in both English and a second language to communicate effectively with customers of diverse backgrounds. - Perform additional tasks as required to meet the needs of the business. Experience: - Proven experience in retail sales or a related field, with a focus on customer service and sales growth. - Experience with cash handling and cash registers is essential. - Prior experience in supervising other sales associates is beneficial. - Experience with stock management and visual merchandising is an asset. - Bilingualism is highly valued, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in multiple languages. Skills: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent customer service skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. - Knowledge of retail sales techniques and strategies. - Proficiency with cash registers. - Experience with stock management and retail math. - Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues. - Strong problem- solving and conflict resolution skills. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
