In-Building Wireless Project Development Manager E.M. Enterprises General Contractors, Inc. is a telecommunications general contractor headquartered in Tampa, FL. We offer a wide range of services and turnkey solutions in telecommunications construction services including full telecommunications site construction, DAS design and installation, pole and tower construction for various carriers as well as service and support for those carriers. The company regularly self-performs pole erections, RF installations, fence installations, concrete slab forming and pouring, electrical as well as minor site work including landscaping and demolition. E.M. Enterprises General Contractors, Inc. is a communications contractor specializing in services throughout the state of Florida and the Southeastern United States. EMEGC is seeking an individual to support the growth and development of our In-Building Wireless Division, specifically focused on Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Public Safety DAS solutions. This individual will play a key role in expanding EMEGC's presence within healthcare, commercial real estate, government, and venue environments requiring enhanced cellular coverage and emergency responder radio coverage. The ideal candidate will likely have 25 years of experience within telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, or low-voltage construction, and will demonstrate a strong interest in developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting technical solutions for in-building wireless systems. This role will work closely with senior leadership and technical teams to develop new opportunities while supporting the long-term expansion of EMEGC's in-building business unit. Reports to Director of In-Building Services and works closely with VP overseeing the In-Building team. Market Development and Business Growth Identify and develop new opportunities for Cellular DAS and Public Safety DAS projects Establish relationships with property owners, developers, general contractors, MEP engineers, and wireless carriers Support the development and management of sales pipeline for in-building wireless projects Work with internal teams to develop strategies for expanding EMEGC's presence in healthcare, commercial real estate, and large venue markets Assist in preparing proposals and technical presentations for potential clients Attend industry events and meetings to support company visibility and relationship development Technical Understanding of In-Building Wireless Systems Working knowledge of RF principles related to Cellular DAS and/or Public Safety DAS systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and architectural plans Ability to review RF designs (iBwave preferred but not required) Support development and review of Bills of Materials (BOM) for DAS and Public Safety systems Coordinate with RF engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure proposed solutions align with project requirements Support pre-sales technical discussions with customers and consultants Opportunity Development and Project Take-Off Identify project opportunities and support early-stage project evaluation Perform or oversee project take-offs from construction drawings and design documents Work with estimating and engineering teams to support development of project budgets and proposals Assist in identifying project scope and requirements for DAS and Public Safety systems Support preparation of RFP and RFQ responses Track potential projects from early identification through award and project kickoff Project Coordination and Operations Support Work closely with the Operations Manager to coordinate project execution once projects are awarded Early in the role, manage assigned projects directly to gain experience with EMEGC processes and project delivery Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery As project pipeline grows, transition day-to-day project management responsibilities to the operations team while maintaining client relationships and oversight Assist with project kickoff meetings and coordination between sales, engineering, and operations teams Client Relationship Management Build and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and industry partners Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and communicate EMEGC capabilities Serve as a liaison between clients, technical teams, and project management staff Provide clients with guidance on wireless coverage requirements and evolving technology solutions Support promotion of additional EMEGC services including system maintenance and monitoring Professional Development and Growth This position is intended for an individual looking to develop long-term within the telecommunications infrastructure industry. The role provides exposure to both the technical and commercial aspects of DAS and Public Safety wireless systems, with opportunities for advancement as the in-building division continues to expand. Potential growth opportunities include: Senior Business Development Manager Regional Wireless Solutions Lead Director of In-Building Development Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
