Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty and satisfaction
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
• Assist customers with product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly
• Maintain the cash drawer, handle cash handling procedures, and balance registers at shift end
• Apply phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone
• Support merchandising efforts by organizing products according to store standards and promoting featured items Skills
• Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions
• Strong supervising experience or ability to oversee store activities when needed
• Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for diverse customer interactions
• Demonstrated ability in cashiering, cash drawer handling, and basic math for accurate transactions
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and grocery store experience is a plus
• Ability to perform retail math efficiently for sales reporting and inventory management
