Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and offer knowledgeable recommendations
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
• Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and organizing stockroom areas efficiently
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors
• Support store operations by supervising stock levels, ensuring proper signage, and assisting with store cleanliness

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-focused attitude are essential
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are beneficial for team support roles
