Bay Area Diamond Company in Medford, WI is a leading diamond and engagement ring retail store. Our headquarters is located in Green Bay, WI with an ancillary location in Mundelein, IL. We seek sales professionals to join our team in Medford selling fine jewelry and repairs, with an emphasis on diamonds and engagement rings. The ideal candidate will be energetic, outgoing, intuitive, and hard-working. We promote a team environment and support each other daily. This position reports to a highly experienced store manager. Key responsibilities include:

• Achieve personal and store sales goals by demonstrating strong personal selling skills.
• Actively work with your clients, building a network of referrals and securing appointments and sales to celebrate major life events.
• Continuously improve your product knowledge and sales skills.
• Maintain a professional work environment and communicate openly with other sales associates and management. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Ability to read people and communicate effectively
• Flexibility to sell to a variety of personalities
• Ability to multi-task and change gears quickly
• Proficient computer and smart-phone skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving policies and procedures
• Proven history of achieving sales goals in a retail jewelry environment is desirable, but not a must
• Superior communication, conflict management, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, Saturdays, and holidays We will train on all aspects of the position, including salesmanship, jewelry knowledge, gem knowledge, and procedures. Bay Area Diamond Company offers a generous compensation package that includes hourly pay inclusive of commission, holiday pay, sick pay, vacation pay, a retirement plan with company match, profit sharing, a health plan, and an employee purchasing program.
