Full description of the position

Assistant Director of Corporate Partnerships (Full-time) The College of Westchester, an Associate degree- and Baccalaureate degree- granting college, is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Corporate Partnerships. The Assistant Director of Corporate Partnerships is a hands-on, externally focused role responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the college's Corporate Partners Program. This program provides significant tuition discounts50% for partner employees and 25% for their family membersoffering accessible pathways to higher education at The College of Westchester. This position requires a do-er: someone who can generate leads, cultivate relationships, deliver presentations, support employee-students, and oversee all partnership activity. As the program grows, the role may evolve into a broader leadership position, but the immediate focus is building and managing the pipeline and ensuring a seamless experience for partner companies and their employees. The Assistant Director will represent The College in a manner that will effectively support the pursuit of The College's strategic enrollment and student/graduate outcomes objectives. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • 3 - 5+ years in business development, employer outreach, B2B sales, or higher ed recruitment.
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort engaging with HR leaders, managers, executives as well as prospective students.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a small, flexible, fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to work independently, spend significant time in the field, and meet goals.
  • Knowledge of strategic marketing and admissions recruiting is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Identify and Acquire New Partners Proactively research and target prospective corporate partners across diverse industries. Initiate outreach and present the value of our Corporate Partners Programhighlighting the up to 50% employee tuition discount (up to 25% for family). Negotiate partnerships to formalize tuition discount benefits and other collaboration opportunities. This role places a strong emphasis on active field outreach and direct relationship-building. 2. Cultivate and Nurture Relationships Develop strong, long-term relationships with each corporate partner, serving as their primary liaison to the college. Conduct regular check-ins with partner contacts to understand their workforce education needs and ensure satisfaction with the partnership. Provide hands-on account management and consistently reinforce the value of the program. 3. Program Promotion & Employee Engagement Collaborate with Marketing and Admissions to promote the program to partner organizations and their employees. Plan and deliver informational webinars, on-site presentations, lunch-and-learn sessions, and customized marketing materials. Actively encourage employee participation - this role requires direct, visible engagement in the field. Collect inquiries, make appointments and guide potential students directly to an admissions appointment. 4. Generate and Manage the Corporate Partnership Pipeline Build and maintain your own pipeline of prospective partners, from initial outreach to enrolled students. Track progress, follow up consistently, and manage partnerships at all stages of the funnel. Use CRM to maintain detailed records of touchpoints, inquiries, and potential opportunities. Drive toward quarterly partnership and enrollment goals with a strategic yet hands-on approach. 5. Provide Hands-On Enrollment Support Throughout the Enrollment Journey. Coordinate with Admissions and Financial Aid to streamline employment verification, discount application, and tuition reimbursement integration. Act as a concierge for busy working adults, removing barriers and ensuring a smooth experience. Maintain communication with employee-students to support persistence and satisfaction. 6. Facilitate Employer Engagement with Career Services Partner with Office of Career Services to connect corporate partners with student/graduate talent. Encourage involvement in career fairs, internship postings, hiring pipelines, and classroom engagement. Strengthen partnerships by supporting employer needs while expanding opportunities for students. Identify opportunities for internships, pipeline hiring, apprenticeships, or guest speakers. 7. Monitor, Measure, and Report Results Prepare regular reports on partnership health and performance. Track growth in number of partnerships, partner meetings, employee inquiries, enrollments, retention, and overall engagement. Use data to assess which outreach strategies are most effective and adjust accordingly. Communicate insights to senior leadership to support decision-making and program growth.
