The Sales Associate is responsible for driving revenue growth through a combination of inside and outside sales, technical support, and proactive business development. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with custom home builders, remodelers, and light commercial general contractors while identifying new opportunities to expand market share within the branch's territory.

Responsibilities

: Sales & Customer Support

• Provide product recommendations and technical guidance on insulation materials, applications, building codes and energy-efficiency requirements
• Prepare accurate quotes, pricing and material takeoffs based on plans, specifications or field measurements
• Support pre-construction planning, jobsite visits and onsite troubleshooting
• Coordinate with warehouse, operations and installation teams to ensure accurate and timely project execution
• Deliver exceptional customer service from initial bid through project completion Business Development
• Prospect and secure new builder and contractor accounts through outreach and networking
• Expand business within existing accounts by promoting additional products, services or project types
• Monitor local construction activity to identify new opportunities
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and represent the company at industry events
• Collaborate with branch leadership to develop and execute territory growth strategies Sales Management & Reporting
• Follow up consistently on bids and proposals to improve close rates
• Maintain an active pipeline and accurately track opportunities using CRM / Excel tools
• Stay current on insulation products, building envelope systems, and competitive offerings
• Provide leadership with feedback on customer needs, pricing trends and competitive activity Required Skills/Abilities:
• Working knowledge of residential and light commercial construction processes
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a business development mindset and comfort prospecting new accounts
• Proficiency in business software programs (MS Office Suite, construction-specific software)
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clear driving record

Education and Experience

:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales and marketing or a related field (preferred but not required)
• 3-5 years of experience in a sales-related role
• Previous experience in construction sales, insulation, building materials or a related field preferred Physical
