At Family Footwear Center , we are hiring a Part-Time Sales Associate to support daily store operations and deliver a strong customer experience on the sales floor. This is an active, customer-facing role focused on selling, product knowledge, and maintaining store standards. You'll spend your time working directly with customers, supporting the team, and helping keep the store running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a professional, approachable manner
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate footwear
• Drive sales through product knowledge, fit guidance, and add-on selling
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain awareness of current promotions and store initiatives
• Keep the sales floor and stock areas clean, organized, and well maintained
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and merchandising product
• Follow all store policies related to inventory control and loss prevention Product Knowledge & Development
• Learn and apply knowledge of footwear brands, materials, and fit
• Stay current on new products, seasonal changes, and key features
• Participate in training and apply knowledge directly on the sales floor What We're Looking For
• Retail experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team
• Comfortable staying active and engaged throughout the shift
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while keeping focus on the customer Position Details
