Business Development/Marketing Manager Bessolo Design Group A Full service Architectural, Engineering, & Interior Design firm located in St. Petersburg, Florida Bessolo Design Group, an architecture/engineering/interior design company based in St. Petersburg, FL is an award winning and highly rated Fast 50 Company by Tampa Bay Business Journal is expanding and is seeking an experienced Business Development/Marketing Manager. Business Development/Marketing Manager will cultivate the development market and establish contacts to cultivate new client relationships. Candidate will source, develop and manage prospects then generate leads. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development of the Architectural, Engineering and/or Construction field.

Compensation

is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

to include but not limited to:

• Identify target prospects and generate leads all within a strategic yearly plan while monitoring with upper management monthly.
• Qualify and cultivate leads with Go/No Go review of all opportunities.
• Manage and report on the status of your pipeline.
• Excellent targeting and prospecting skills with a heavy emphasis on 1:1 communication via in person, cold calling, direct emailing and mailing.
• Develop and manage other lead generation tactics.
• Penetrate specific markets within established timeframes.
• Manage the preparation of response material for Requests for

Qualifications

and Request for Proposal (RFP & RFQ) documents.

• Update and maintain company brochure for multiple markets and a general company overview.
• Work within established and approved budgets.
• Practice high morals and ethics in approaching the business of the company.
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships and close deals.
• Proposal generation/and or management of proposal generation by administrative personnel.
• Prepare presentations on multiple medias.
• Write and produce good creative marketing materials.
• Maintain and update the website and social media with news items, project updates and employment postings.
• Experience making Trade show arrangements and must be able to travel and attend trade shows.
• Ability to Manage marketing plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is highly desirable
• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in business development and/or direct sales capacity
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to generate new business.
• Use and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator) as a research tool and to create marketing materials for presentations.
• Experience with maintaining CRM software.
• Must have professional appearance.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proven selling skills.
• Must be honest, focused, organized, flexible and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Must be able to work without supervision.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
• Experience with setting up tradeshow booth.
