Overview

We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative (Interior Doors & Hardware) to join our growing team. This role focuses on building strong relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, flooring stores, and local distributors. You will introduce our product line of interior doors, frames, hardware, and related materials, helping customers choose the right solutions for their projects. The ideal candidate has experience in building materials, enjoys visiting job sites and showrooms, and is eager to develop a sales territory from the ground up. This position offers base pay plus commission, with significant growth opportunities as our U.S. operations continue to expand. Base salary + Commission

Duties

• Visit builders, contractors, and dealers to generate new leads and expand territory coverage
• Present product samples and explain features and benefits clearly to prospective clients
• Understand customer project needs and recommend suitable door and hardware solutions
• Maintain and grow long-term customer relationships to support recurring business
• Follow up on quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales
• Conduct site visits and customer warehouse visits as needed
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
• Support market research and competitor analysis
• Coordinate with internal teams on orders, delivery schedules, and customer service
• Manage customer accounts and maintain updated records through CRM or internal tracking tools

Requirements

• Experience in building materials , doors , flooring , hardware , or related industries preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable conducting in-person customer visits and local travel
• Basic knowledge of interior doors, frames, or hardware is a plus
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability
• Valid driver's license preferred
