• Identify new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, cold calling, and networking to expand our customer base.
• Manage accounts by providing excellent customer service, understanding client needs, and offering tailored product solutions.
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the unique qualities of Greek and Mediterranean food items.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts effectively to close sales while maintaining profitability.
• Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer information, and analyze market trends for strategic planning.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of product features, industry trends, and competitors to stay ahead in the marketplace.
• Manage territory sales activities efficiently through territory management techniques, ensuring consistent coverage and growth.
• Provide feedback from clients to internal teams for continuous improvement of products and services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales or business development within food or related industries; experience in Greek or Mediterranean food products is a plus.
• Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated success in B2B sales environments with a focus on retail or hospitality sectors.
• Familiarity with technology sales tools is advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to account management.
• Ability to conduct compelling product demos and upsell effectively during client interactions.
• Strong analysis skills for market research, territory planning, and sales forecasting.
• Exceptional communication skills for cold calling, inside sales efforts, and building long-term client relationships.
