Responsibilities

As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be part of a supportive team that focuses on helping clients understand and select the right insurance coverage. You will work alongside an experienced agency owner and a strong team. You will learn about insurance sales, networking, becoming an agency owner (optional), and much more. You will:

• Learn about Farmers Insurance products and services through training and mentorship
• Contact and engage potential clients using provided leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers through professional communication and follow-up.
• Assess customers' unique insurance needs to prepare accurate quotes and recommend tailored solutions.
• Educate clients on insurance products and coverage options to help them make informed decisions.
• Proactively reach out to prospective clients through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and networking events.
• Work toward the sales goal set by the agency
• Work with an agency owner, the District Office, and clients to ensure agency growth through retaining customers and building new connections Candidates must obtain their Property & Casualty and Life, Accident, and Health licenses for this role. We encourage candidates who are determined to obtain these licenses to apply, as our team provides guidance and support throughout the licensing process.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is motivated to learn, and is excited to build a long-term career in sales.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
• At least one year of sales experience in any industry is preferred.
• Comfortable speaking with new people and starting conversations.
• Motivated to learn about insurance, inside sales, and the agency sales process.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be willing to obtain the Property and Casualty license.
• Must be willing to obtain the Life, Accident, and Health license.
