Retail sales - Flooring Designer If you have worked in retail sales before and you loved it, this is the best retail sales position there is. It is fun and exciting to work with our customers guiding them thru a home remodel or new home plan. You will help them choose the styles and colors that make there home more beautiful. Position has excellent high income potential when on commission and you like to work retail hours in our showroom. We need an outstanding Flooring Designer - Sales Professional that loves home design, construction estimating and sales. Experience in this field is nice but if you have similar experience and feel you can learn quickly we should talk. It does help if you are energetic and you genuinely enjoy talking and working with people. An interest in home building, construction, color coordination and home design is necessary. This is a Long-term Career Opportunity more than short term job and we love to train enthusiastic people who want to grow with our team. Ideal candidates are fully dedicated to this career and don't mind working over 50 hours per week. It is not a requirement to have previous flooring industry experience. This is ultimately a full commission position with high income potential. In the beginning we do pay on an hourly basis to get started. We do provide extensive training. • Mileage allowance About the position: The position requires an individual to interact with customers and assist them in making product choices according to their individual needs. Whether the interaction occurs in our award-winning showroom, in the customer's home, or in the community, the objective is always to provide both design and flooring advice that will make the customers buying decision easier. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be willing to divide his or her work time between the showroom floor, visiting customers' homes, prospecting for new clients, and networking within the community. In order to be successful the candidates must also be willing to undergo our extensive product and sales training in order to become a certified flooring and design expert. Great computer skills are very essential. Learning our software is easy but doing operating the software quickly is important. The salary range mentioned is much lower than where you will end up after hard work during training period. A very nice income is possible and actually done by current staff. Initially we do pay a competitive hourly rate and then transition to commission. There is the real ability to make a very nice high income and much higher than hourly rate mentioned in this add. Applicants should have a reliable vehicle to get to work and to customers homes and businesses for estimating. The work hours are 9 am - 6 pm M-F and 10 am - 5 pm Saturdays. Candidates must be willing to work 3 Saturdays per month and until 6 pm on weekdays. We offer a half day off during the week when scheduled for Saturday. Pay Frequency:
